Before you start

Set aside about 30 focused minutes

Grab a notebook or a blank document. You'll sketch a short outline and one worksheet page, the same way you would for a real chapter or lesson — just using sample material instead of a live client's.

01 · Sample outline

Turn rough notes into a working outline

    Start from approved source material

    A short set of notes, a transcript, or a rough draft from the subject-matter expert — never invented content.

  2. 02

    Group ideas into a logical sequence

    Cluster related points into modules or chapters that build toward a clear outcome for the reader.

  3. 03

    Draft working titles and objectives

    Write a one-line objective for each section so the expert can confirm the shape before you draft.

  4. 04

    Flag open questions for the expert

    Mark anywhere a fact, figure, or example needs the expert to confirm or supply before drafting.

02 · Worksheet walkthrough

Build one worksheet page from your outline

Pick one section from your practice outline and turn it into a single worksheet page. Include:

  • Chapter or lesson title and a one-sentence summary
  • Key terms the reader should recognize by the end
  • A short practice question or reflection prompt
  • A space for the expert to sign off on accuracy
